Manitou Electric Forklifts
The ME range comprises 14 models that are fully electric, ranging from 1.5 up to 5-ton lift capacity. Three-wheel versions are available with up to a 2-ton capacity, while four-wheel versions range from 1.8 to 5 tons. Three types of masts are available, offering a maximum height of 6.5 meters.
Full visibility duplex masts provide exceptional visibility, while three-lift duplex or triplex masts give low overall working height. For turning and lifting in confined spaces the three-wheel Manitou forklift versions offer excellent manoeuvrability thanks to the high-rotation rear wheels. The four-wheel forklift truck models offer increased stability with a smoother ride over rough surfaces.
Operators have easy access on and off the machine thanks to a large non-slip step, spacious floor, and plenty of grab handles. Adjustable steering columns and seats ensure driver comfort, and slim cab pillars give great all-round vision. Cab options include front and rear windows, with fully enclosed cabs available on most models. Mechanical dash-mounted levers make operating the Manitou ME models straightforward. A clear dash provides all the necessary information such as battery level and allows the operator to program some customisable settings as driver characteristics.
The Manitou ME range is versatile, robust and easy to use, offering low noise operations, zero emissions and low maintenance, while being an extremely safe machine to operate. Thanks to a host of options and accessories available, a machine can be tailored to your application.
Manitou Diesel and Gas Forklifts
The Manitou MI forklift range offers 15 models, providing real performance and durability to improve productivity on a daily basis. Fully compliant with stage five emissions, gas-powered trucks are available from 1.5 to 7 tons, and diesel versions from 2 tons to an impressive 10-ton lift capacity.
Equipped with a monoblock chassis and reinforced axles, these machines offer great reliability. Three types of masts are available, with lift heights from 3.3 to 6.5 meters.
Diesel versions utilise Kubota or Deutz engines, while GCT or PSI engines power the gas models. High horsepower ensures an excellent availability of power for travel fully loaded, and efficient operating speeds of the hydraulics. As an example, the MI 25D has a 50 horsepower Kubota engine, single-speed transmission, and 18 km/h travel speed.
All the Manitou MI models utilise a torque converter transmission with full braking on the front axle, and a simple to use and efficient system that requires little maintenance.
Operators have easy access to the cab from both sides with a nonslip step, a large spacious flat floor, and plenty of easy-to-reach grab handles.
Adjustable steering columns and seats ensure driver comfort, with an integrated cup and document holder. Slim cab pillar size ensures optimum all-round vision.
Clear load vision at height is enhanced with a panoramic roof window with no roof bars. Cab options include front and rear windows or fully enclosed cabs with heaters. All-round LED lighting gives plenty of light for working in dark conditions. Mechanical dash-mounted levers are very intuitive. A colour display shows information such as fuel level, temperature and operating hours. A large opening bonnet gives excellent access for daily checks and routine maintenance.
The forklifts are available on a choice of solid pneumatic or non-marking tires, allowing you to spec the machine to suit your working environment.
