The smart 48V batteries that power this model are interchangeable with other garden tools in the freedom500 range – allowing you to have all gardening jobs covered using the same battery system.
New for 2022 this smart battery powered lawn rider is the perfect mower for those with larger gardens and looking for a petrol alternative. Powered by the very latest E-power battery technology the 48V lithium-Ion batteries have been tested way beyond the industry standard to deliver a high-performance capacity and are still going strong after 600 charges.
Engineered around 4 removable 5Ah batteries that intelligently synchronise when mowing to create ample power and efficient run-times for a garden up to ½ acre in size. The batteries are interchangeable with the handheld products that feature in the freedom500 cordless range making this rider extremely versatile.
The shock absorbing 72cm high impact polymer cutting deck makes it a lot quieter so you could even mow the lawn on a Sunday morning! Two contra-rotating blades that are engaged at the touch of a button make cutting precise and energy efficient. Cuttings are blown at high speed though a unique central grass duct into the 150-litre rear-mounted grass collector. Other features include a washing link allowing for easy maintenance of the underside of the deck along with 6 cutting height positions ranging from 30–80mm. This model comes with 4 x 48V 5Ah batteries and charger included.
