Festive Cheer at TNS in Littleport
Thurlow Nunn Standen Littleport branch proudly hosted its annual Christmas Lights and Branch Open Evening on Thursday 30th November, drawing in an incredible crowd of over 800 local residents and loyal customers. The main attraction was a truly impressive display of farm machinery in twinkling Christmas lights, leaving visitors in awe.
In the lead-up to the event, the team at TNS Littleport worked tirelessly to create a remarkable Christmas display. The final result was nothing short of spectacular featuring a Massey Ferguson combine, Valtra tractor and Ktwo trailer dressed in Christmas lights.
The event also served as a fundraiser for The Farming Community Network (FCN), a voluntary organization and charity dedicated to supporting farmers and families within the farming community during challenging times. Through various activities like a Christmas raffle and various competitions, the event successfully raised £891.27 for the FCN charity.
“The Farming Community Network stands as a beacon of support for our farmers and families, offering invaluable assistance during their toughest times,” stated Richard Wareham, Branch Manager at TNS in Littleport. “The overwhelming support from both our local community and the dedicated TNS team is the true driving force behind the success of this event. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to all involved.”
The evening was not just about fundraising; the team at TNS Littleport celebrated the start of the festive season by reconnecting with the local community and customers. Attendees indulged in complimentary mulled wine, delightful mince pies and Christmas carols.
Children had a chance to meet Father Christmas, take part in a colouring competition, and experience the thrill of hopping into the powerful Massey Ferguson 8S tractor for an unforgettable photo opportunity.
TNS Littleport branch extends sincere thanks to all participants for making this event a remarkable success.
