Specialist Installations Division

The Specialist Installations Division (SID) design, supply and construct crop storage, handling and processing facilities both on-farm and with agriculturally related industries.
Since the mid 70's we have specialised in the providing of facilities for all agricultural crops including grain, potatoes, onions, bulbs, carrots, and fresh vegetables.

Whilst this part of the business has built its reputation on undertaking turn-key projects it is equally at home supplying component parts.

The Division is headed by Jeremy Nunn, a Director of TNS, it has a team of seven, including two in technical sales and contract management, plus a full time draughtsperson.

Jeremy is a member of the Nunn family, who remain shareholders in the business and, along with James Thurlow, is proud to be continuing the family involvement in the strategic and day to day management of the business.

We can organise all aspects of a project including equipment supply, Local Authority Planning and Building Regulations, Health and Safety Regulations, finance, steel-frame buildings and ground-works, flood risk assessments, archaeological surveys, electricity and gas supply and installation, hard and soft landscaping.

If you are planning any building development or want a quote for any crop storage equipment then don't hesitate to email us for more details.

Diversity is key to success

Projects have been as diverse as the contract management for a packing complex for the supply of leeks to supply a major UK supermarket chain, to the supply of a single phase fan to ventilate a bulk stack of potatoes destined for the local chip shop.

Catering for specialist requirements is a key strength of ours. We are reknowned for the ability to complete projects to specification, on time and to budget incorporating all the individual tailored requirements necessary for your project.
We work closely with our clients to ensure their projects incorporate the latest technologies to bring about the efficiencies savings that are paramount to a business. The environmental impact and renewable green energies are also essential elements in the design and implementation of projects.
