Manage your data

We respect your privacy – we keep your data inside Thurlow Nunn Standen and use it to give you services or to do our best to improve your experience with us.
In May 2018 the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) came into effect. This gives you more control over how companies can store and use your data.

At TNS we use your data to provide you with services you have requested and to keep you informed with relevant offers and updates. We only share your data with other parties if you ask us or give us your permission.

You have the right to see (Subject Access Request (SAR)), rectify, transfer and delete your data. You also have the right to withdraw consent/restrict how we use your data for marketing purposes.

Data Protection Statement
Thurlow Nunn Standen Ltd, and the manufacturer of your machinery and its group companies may process your data to provide customer and machinery support services, product information updates, marketing, market research, sales tracking purposes and to contact you to measure and improve service levels.
We respect your privacy – with your permission we will share some of your information with the manufacturer of your machinery, its group companies, suppliers, retailers and agents for the above purposes – we will not share your personal details with third parties for their independent use.
In some cases data may be transferred to, and processed outside the European Economic Area (EEA) – in doing so we will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your information is treated securely and in accordance with applicable laws.
On request, you can stop the processing of your personal details for marketing at any time.

Notification under Data Protection Act 1998
We will collect and store the personal information you provide to us for purposes related to your machinery purchase, including arranging the purchase and financing for your machinery; for providing access to our service partners; to provide you with information about special offers and to share with our affiliate companies for marketing purposes.
In accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998, you are entitled to ask us to amend our record about you if it is not correct and you may receive a copy of the information we hold about you by applying to us in writing. You may also object to marketing by applying to us in writing at any time.
